Craig Willeke is a financial advisor and the President and proud owner of Willeke Financial Group, LLC. He has been working in financial services since 2003, serving a variety of clients including healthcare professionals and business owners.
Craig began his professional journey as an Occupational Therapist, a role that gave him a strong foundation in psychology. Today, he applies this background to his work as a financial advisor, emphasizing holistic financial planning. He especially enjoys guiding clients through the important—but often overlooked—area of behavioral finance.
When working with clients, Craig places a strong emphasis on tax planning, creating strategies that not only follow sound financial principles but also focus on efficiency and automation. These systems help clients stay on track, even when life throws the unexpected their way. Craig believes that once someone is financially “headed in the right direction,” it shouldn’t require much time or effort to maintain that course—just regular checkups and timely adjustments.
Before becoming a financial advisor, Craig worked in outpatient healthcare and later in specialized Durable Medical Equipment. He earned his B.S. in Psychology with a minor in Business from Nebraska Wesleyan University in 1993, and received a Master of Occupational Therapy from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, MO, in 1997.
Blending his passion for fitness and helping others, Craig co-founded and co-owned a kettlebell gym, Fit Club, for five years. ("Fit Club" is a playful nod to Fight Club, reflecting Craig’s interest in combat sports.)
Craig has been a proud, consistent member of the Million Dollar Round Table since 2011. He holds several professional designations, including CFP® (Certified Financial Planner), LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow), and CLTC® (Certified in Long-Term Care®).
In addition to his advisory work, Craig volunteers with Money Management Educators, a company dedicated to teaching money management skills in the workplace.
One of Craig’s many hobbies is reading. He is particularly drawn to books focused self-improvement, betterment, and growth. Here’s a list of his favorites from over the years.

In his free time, Craig enjoys challenging himself through new hobbies and learning opportunities. He is currently studying Spanish and aspires to become fluent. His wife, Marcela, is originally from Colombia and a native Spanish speaker. She has brought with her a deep passion for coffee, which led the couple to start a coffee import business together. They also plan to open a coffee shop in the near future.
Craig is also passionate about fitness. For more than 30 years, he has trained in various martial arts and now focuses exclusively on Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
Family is important to Craig—his son, Conor, is currently a university student pursuing a degree in financial planning and is also interning with Craig’s company.
She is in charge of client relationship management, social media and service work for existing clients. She, like Craig, also has a healthcare background. She graduated from nursing school in 2007 and worked for several years in direct patient care.
Jamie also loves to travel and experience new culture and cuisine.
